Soratek

The Soratek appliance which is based on IP (Internet Protocol) technology enables you to take a unified approach to Video Surveillance and leverage further return on investment from your existing network infrastructure. 

Disparate devices (cameras, locks, sensors etc) can be integrated on to one common infrastructure whilst remote site surveillance can be carried out across distributed sites from one central location.  The benefits of adopting this streamlined approach to implementing and managing surveillance are far reaching.

H.264 COMPRESSION

Compression technology can reduce bandwidth requirements by up to 80% compared with Motion JPEG format and as much as 50% more than with the MPEG-4 Part 2 standard.  Using Soratek with H.264 (capable) cameras significantly reduces network bandwidth requirements as well as storage space.

COMPLETE REDUNDANCY

Soratek appliances can be configured in an N+1 redundant architecture to provide automatic failover. In the event of a failure, Soratek will begin recording images to a back-up appliance.

UPDATE AGED ANALOG SYSTEMS

Soratek provides a straight forward, cost effective upgrade path from legacy surveillance systems. Analog cameras can be integrated with Soratek using Video converters and added to the network along with IP cameras in previously hard to reach locations.
